Jinbe: Guardian of the Seas

Jinbe is the blue whale shark Fish-Man of the Straw Hats. Raised in the Fish-Man district with Fisher Tiger, Arlong and other orphans. A prodigy of Fish-Man karate, he joined Neptune's army and later Fisher Tiger's Sun Pirates, becoming their captain after Tiger's death. To improve interspecies relations, he even became a Warlord of the Sea.

Meets Luffy in Impel Down while trying to help Ace. At the Marineford War, they fight alongside Whitebeard, but Ace dies. Jinbe escapes with Luffy and assists him in Amazon Lily, forging an unbreakable bond.

Two years later, on Fish-Man Island, they defeat the coup by Hody Jones' New Fish-Man Pirates. Though initially declines joining due to ties with Big Mom, he ultimately becomes official helmsman in Wano.
